Does menstruation and hemorrhoids have any link?

It seems I always get really bad hemorrhoids 2 days before I start my period. Is there any medical reason why?

I don’t think the hemorrhoids are linked to menustration. It could be that you strain when you have a bowel movement prior to menustration.
